Winter activities
If you visit us in the winter and you are a keen sportsperson, try the nearby sport centres for skiing, cross-country skiing or snowboarding. Or, if you prefer to take it easy and relax, you can use our infrared sauna in Chateau DIVA.
Snowland Valča (21km)
Snowland is a sports and recreation centre located at the foot of Lúčanská Small Fatra in Valčianska valley. It is only 12.5km from the city of Martina. This architecturally modern concept ski resort was built as a suburban centre with easy access for motor vehicles. Free parking areas are available for a 1000 cars and 10 buses
Jasenská valley (23 km)
Here you can find the ski resorts of KAŠOVÁ and LEHOTA. KAŠOVÁ is easily accessed from the village of Belá - Dulice via an all-year-round maintained road. Located near to the ski lifts there is a large carpark for cars and buses. The slopes are well maintained and suitable for beginners right through to more advanced skiers.
Martinky - Martinské hole (40km)
The Martinky Winter Park is located above the town of Martin with an altitude of 1,150m - 1,456m. It is well known for its excellent skiing conditions and spectacular view of the Slovak mountains. The centre has a long history and tradition.
Krahule – Kremnica (18 km)
Krahule village also known as "THE CENTRE OF EUROPE" caters for all-year-round activities with a vast amount of hiking trails available for all levels. The recreation centre is in the middle of Krahule right next to the ski lifts.
Skalka – Kremnica (25 km)
The centre offers more than 25km of ski slopes and free parking close to the main ski lift. Skalka Arena is a perfect place for all skiing enthusiasts. There is also enough space for snowboard lovers as well. Besides alpine skiing, cross-country skiing sportspersons can enjoy over 60km of trails, which becomes the venue of an annual cross country race called The White Tracks.
